Capital Goose is a Loan Service Provider (LSP). We are not a lender, broker, or credit provider. Our role is to:
- Collect and process your loan application data;
- Retrieve your credit report with your explicit consent;
- Match your profile with one or more of our lending partners;
- Forward your application and supporting information to our partner institutions;
- Assist with the document collection process on behalf of the lender.
All decisions regarding your loan, including approval, rates, and terms, are made solely by the lending institution. We do not guarantee loan approval or specific outcomes.
2. Eligibility
You must:
- Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction);
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements;
- Provide accurate and truthful information during the application process.
3. Use of Personal Information
We collect, store, and transmit personally identifiable information (PII), including but not limited to your:
- Full name
- Address
- Social Security Number
- Business and financial information
- Bank account details
- Credit report and credit score
This information is collected:
- With your explicit consent;
- For the purpose of forwarding to our lending partners;
- For internal compliance and regulatory requirements.
All use and protection of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy (linked or hosted separately).
4. Credit Pull Authorization
By submitting your application, you authorize Capital Goose to:
- Obtain your credit report through a third-party provider;
- Share the results of your credit profile with our lending partners;
- Retain your credit data as part of your application profile for compliance and re-submission purposes.
You may revoke this authorization by submitting a written request to compliance@capitalgoose.com; however, this may affect our ability to match you with a lender.
5. Data Retention
Capital Goose retains application data, including PII and credit information, as required by applicable laws and financial regulations, even if your loan application is withdrawn or denied. We use commercially reasonable security practices to protect your data.
6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Submit false or misleading information;
- Attempt to access or interfere with the systems of Capital Goose or its partners;
- Use our services for any fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized purpose.
7. No Guarantee of Loan Approval
Capital Goose makes no representations or warranties regarding:
- Loan approval;
- Interest rates or terms;
- The suitability of any financial product to your needs.
All lending decisions are made solely by our partner financial institutions.
8. Third-Party Partners
Capital Goose is not responsible for:
- The actions, omissions, or decisions of third-party banks or lenders;
- Content or policies on third-party websites linked via our Platform;
- Any financial losses or damages arising from your relationship with the lender.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Capital Goose shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
- Loss of data, income, profits, or business;
- Any damages exceeding $100.
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the service is to stop using the Platform.
10. Modifications to These Terms
Capital Goose reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the Effective Date. Continued use of the Platform after changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of [Insert State], without regard to its conflict of law principles.
